Yes. All Ace Protection Security guards hold valid licences issued under the BC Security Services Act (British Columbia) or the Private Security and Investigative Services Act (Ontario), depending on their province of deployment. We do not place unlicensed personnel at any client site.

We can typically provide a written quote within hours and deploy trained security personnel within 24 hours for urgent requests. For planned engagements, we recommend a minimum of 48–72 hours to conduct a site assessment and prepare written post orders before deployment.

A fixed-post guard is stationed at one location for the duration of a shift — ideal for sites requiring a constant presence, such as condominium lobbies or gatehouse operations. Mobile patrol involves a guard driving a dedicated vehicle to check multiple properties on a randomised schedule. Mobile patrol is typically more cost-effective and provides strong deterrence through unpredictability, making it well-suited for retail plazas, construction sites and industrial properties.

Yes. For operations in British Columbia, all deployed personnel are covered under WorkSafeBC (the BC workers' compensation authority). For operations in Ontario, all deployed personnel are covered under WSIB (Workplace Safety and Insurance Board of Ontario). We carry comprehensive general liability insurance for both provinces. Clearance certificates are available to clients on request and are included in our standard compliance package.

Every shift generates a Digital Activity Report (DAR) documenting all observations, visitor logs and incidents. Incident reports are submitted within two hours of any event. Clients also receive monthly KPI reviews covering incident trends, response times and supervisor inspection results. All reports are emailed directly to the designated client contact.

Yes. Concierge security is one of our primary service areas. Our concierge officers are trained in both security fundamentals and customer service, providing access control, visitor registration, parcel management, CCTV monitoring and resident assistance. We work with property managers and condo boards across British Columbia and Ontario to develop site-specific post orders.

Yes. We provide event security for corporate functions, galas, concerts, film productions and private events across BC and Ontario. Our event security team conducts a pre-event site walkthrough, develops deployment plans and coordinates with venue management. Single-night and multi-day bookings are both available.

Yes. Construction site security is a core service. We provide after-hours guard coverage, fire watch, equipment and material protection, and perimeter monitoring. Our guards are familiar with construction site safety requirements and can provide documentation for your project insurer on request.

We service Metro Vancouver including Vancouver, Surrey, Burnaby, Richmond, Coquitlam, Langley, Abbotsford and surrounding areas. For locations outside these areas, please contact us — we assess each request individually.

We service the Greater Toronto Area including Toronto, Scarborough, North York, Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan, Markham, Richmond Hill, Pickering and Oshawa. For locations outside the GTA, please contact us directly.

All guards complete mandatory provincial security guard training and licensing. Before deployment, every guard receives site-specific orientation covering post orders, escalation procedures, reporting requirements and customer service expectations for your property. Supervisors conduct regular welfare checks and unannounced site inspections to maintain standards.

No. We do not require clients to sign long-term contracts. We operate on flexible service agreements tailored to your operational needs — whether that is a single event, a seasonal engagement or an ongoing monthly service.
